People are often confused about how Counselling is approached. Click on the following questions for answers that have been helpful to people in the past

If you have an appointment booked but find you need to rearrange please contact me as soon as possible. If you can provide 24hrs notice of cancelling then no fee will be chargeable for the session. Cancelled sessions after this time will be charged at the full rate.

I have two counselling and psychotherapy practices, one located in West Wickham, Bromley, Kent. This is 15 minutes walk from West Wickham Station. The other practice is located in Holborn, London. The addresses for these can be found on the Contact Me page.

I am a registered member with the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) I am bound by the BACP code of ethics in my therapeutic practice. I receive regular supervision of my work in line with the standards set by the BACP and I am committed to regular professional training and personal development.

If you decide you are interested in Counselling/Psychotherapy, you can contact me by telephone or email at enquires@bromleycounselling.com. We can arrange an initial meeting where you will be able to explore any issue that is troubling you. The initial meeting provides an opportunity for you to see whether you feel comfortable working with me as your counsellor. If we decided to work together, we then agree a suitable time to meet for future sessions.

A session is 50 minutes long and begins at the time booked. Sessions are normally arranged on a weekly basis, at the same time and place.

Yes. All issues discussed in the counselling session are confidential. It is only in exceptional circumstances that I would seek a client’s agreement to break confidentiality. As an individual Member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy, I am bound by its Ethical Framework for Good Practice in Counselling and subject to the professional conduct procedure therein.
